Welcome to Payson Virtual Academy.

Our virtual instructional program is an approved 7-12 grade option for Arizona residents. Currently we are providing dual enrollment options with our high school and middle school. Call the office (928)-472-5800.

Summer School 2013

Summer sessions for students incoming to 9th grade and above will be available on the Payson High School campus (A7) June 2- July 12, 2013. Credit recovery and acceleration course are available for a fee of $75 per course (1/2 credit). Open labs will be available Monday – Thursday. The schedule will be published in May. Download the summer application and call the office for an appointment if you are new to our virtual platform. Continuing students may register and pay their fee at the high school bookstore. Your course will be loaded in late May.

PVA serves students in grades 7-12. We are an authorized AOI virtual school in the Payson School District.

Our vision for PVA is a school with a unique mix of program components. We are a virtual (online) independent study program, we are a home-based education program, and we offer blended instructional opportunities with a credit recovery or acceleration program at Payson High School.

PVA students are Payson students and have the option of participating in on campus sport and music programs and academic clubs.

Extension Options

We also offer students opportunities to accelerate high school graduation, recover credit for failed classes and take electives “for fun” by enrolling as a tuition paying student. Students who are full time in another school can enroll for a reasonable fee (which covers teacher expense).

Current fees are $75/half credit class.
