"Payson's 6 schools, 24 school buses, 37 district vehicles, various equipment and acres of playgrounds and ball fields present me with a long daily 'to do' list. I'm fortunate to have a staff that never loses sight of the district goal of providing an environment conducive to learning. With a sharp eye toward safety and preventive maintenance, we do the driving, mowing, cooking, repairing and cleaning necessary to achieving our mutual goal."

Transportation
Payson Unified School District's well-maintained fleet of buses and well-trained corps of drivers bring students to school and back home safely every day, take students on all kinds of field trips, and transport athletic teams to games as far away as Page and Chinle. Contact Transportation at (928) 474-2340.
Food Service
The Food Service department serves breakfast and lunch in full-service cafeterias at all schools except Payson Center for Success. Meals are planned and served following all state and federal nutrition guidelines.
Payson Schools requests that all families complete a confidential free/reduced lunch application, as most state and federal grant funding the district receives is based on the ratio of free and reduced lunch eligibility to the total student population. Contact Food Service at (928) 472-5703.
Reserving School Facilities
The Payson area has limited venues for medium and large groups, so Payson School District facilities are in great demand by groups ranging from Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops to the Tonto Community Concert Association. Liability issues require that outside groups using school district facilities provide a certificate of insurance with $1 million liability coverage naming Payson Unified School District as "additional insured".
Call Payson Schools Support Operations Department at (928) 472-5700 to reserve school facilities or download the facilities request form.
